The Fort Myers UCC building suffered only minimal cosmetic damage. Downed tree limbs and a broken flag pole. Our 40 year old roof survived, but our Yellow Tabebuia sustained serious damage.
We had a work crew of church family removing branches today (Friday, September 15th) so that cars will be able to get to the back parking lot. As of Friday we have power, but no air conditioning.
We welcomed all volunteers today – even our younger members!
