Welcome Back Snowbirds – See What’s Happening in October!
Our seasonal members and friends are starting to return, and we’re glad to see them! We have many activities going on at church this month, so mark your calendars and join us for at least one of these:
- October 9th – Lunch Bunch & Program (Noon)
Enjoy a vicarious trip to mystical New Mexico as John and Nancy Rohde share slides and stories from visiting Albuquerque, Taos,
and Santa Fe. Learn about Pueblo Indians and discover their story. (Shared cost luncheon)
- October 14th – Pastor Appreciation Luncheon (11:30)
This nationally designated Sunday began in 1992 as a way to encourage congregations to show their appreciation, love and support for their pastor. We are honoring Pastor Dave, as well as
all the retired pastors who call our church home. Sign up in Fellowship Hall.
- October 18th – Women’s Book Group (6 pm)
Meet at the church for a shared cost dinner followed by discussion of the book. Even if you have not had a chance to read the book, you can join in!
- October 28th – Italian Pot Luck Dinner (5:30 pm)
Please sign up to bring a hot dish, salad or dessert. Fellowship will provide bread and drinks. Plan on staying to play bingo and win fabulous prizes!
