UCC Sisters and Friends are invited to come, join this year’s Southern Region Women’s Retreat. This event includes the United Church of Christ Conferences: Southern, Florida, Southeast and South Central, the area from Texas to Virginia.
The retreat will be in the mountains at Blowing Rock Conference Center (BRCC) in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The theme for the weekend is “Strong Sisters’ Stories”. This fun and meaningful gathering is taking place October 18-20, 2019 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The fall foliage should be spectacular in the mountains at that time. (BRCC is a couple hours northwest of Charlotte, NC.)
This will be a time of fellowship, relaxation and renewal for all. During this time together attendees will experience Strong Sisters’ Stories brought to life through Story Sessions, Worship, Missions, Prayer, Free-time, Fun-time and more. You can look forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones.
As clergy and lay women from across the region come together, we will hear and embrace the strong stories of our sisters from Biblical times as well as today. There will be times for participation and for personal reflection. God will be with us in this mountain top experience!

Early bird registration is $200 and must be postmarked by August 30. From August 31 to September 6, registration is $225. Florida UCC Women’s Board of Directors voted to reimburse each woman from Florida in attendance $100.
