Rev. Bucey addresses congregation

Search Committee with the Buceys

After a year and a half of a thorough evaluation process, our Search Committee has called a new minister – David Bucey. We got to meet David and his wife, Barbara, at Candidating Sunday on December 4th, when he led worship and the congregation voted to extend the call to him. David will start his ministry with us on March 1, 2017.

David is an ordained UCC pastor who served churches in Ohio and Indiana as either a called pastor or as an intentional interim. Most recently, David has been pastor at Pilgrim UCC in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he led the congregation through the Open and Affirming Discernment process.  Barbara Bucey is the Director of New Student Initiatives at the University of Cincinnati, and will retire from that job when their home sells. David and Barbara have three adult children.
