We show our love for our community in gifts of both money and time to specific activities.
- Feeding the homeless – The last Wednesday of each month, our church prepares and serves a hot meal to homeless adults at Abundant Grace Fellowship. There are many ways to support this mission – preparing the main course at the church, preparing side dishes at home, and serving the food.
- Donations to local charities – UCC Women has two big fund-raisers each year, the Holiday Tea and Attic Treasures. Some of this money is given to local charities that don’t get the publicity larger charities do. READ MORE>
- Justice Ministries – Fort Myers UCC joined LIFE in March 2017. The interfaith congregations in LIFE seek to address the systemic and institutional causes behind the pain and suffering of poverty and injustice in Lee County. We also support other issues such as championing the rights of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers.
