- Christmas Pageant – December 17, 2017, 10 a.m. The children, adult choir, and handbell choir will present “A Night In Bethlehem”. Set in Ancient Israel, the actors tell the story of Baby Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem from the point of view of the characters they portray. In general, they pose the question, “What would it have been like if you had been there on that Night in Bethlehem? What would you have seen or heard?”
- Blue Christmas Service – December 21st, 7 p.m. Blue? Yes, blue as in the blues. As in “I am feeling blue.” Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. Dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce or separation, coping with the loss of a job, living with cancer or some other disease that puts a question mark over the future, and a number of other human situations make parties and joviality painful for many people in our congregations and communities. This will be a reflective service, one that helps us accept where we really are while holding out healing and hope.
- Christmas Eve Service – December 24th, 5 p.m. This is a service for the whole family. While Advent is a time of waiting and preparing, Christmas Eve is a time of joy because our waiting is over – a Savior is born! Join us for carols and candlelight.
